Giving Back At The Season Of Gratitude, And Always
… Our “Paint It Forward” Program
The Painter’s Rag:
Monthly Wit And Wisdom
From Your Friendly And Professional Fine Painting Company
Don’t you just love the way some big-hearted firms make a real effort to give back to the community… and not just at the holidays?
You might be hard-pressed to think of a way a Fine Residential Painting Company, such as Imhoff Fine Residential Painting Company, could give back to the community.
There might be painters out there – and, I’m not naming names, but you might want to take a hard look at Chuck In A Truck and Dan In A Van – who might think “giving back to the community” means pouring unused paint down the sewer drain.
(By the way, if you ever see Chuck, Dan, or anyone else doing this, please call the Local Authorities. It’s illegal, it’s immoral, and it’s downright super bad in a bad sense. Not super-bad in a “John Shaft is Super-Bad” sense, which is not bad, but good and very cool. No, pouring paint down a sewer drain is not cool. It’s beyond bad. It’s super bad. But I digress.)
In contrast, here at Imhoff Fine Residential Painting Company, where we would never dream of pouring unused paint down a sewer drain, we take a wholly different approach to giving back to the community. And we call it our Paint It Forward program.
Remember the movie where the kid decides it’s more super-bad (in a cool, very-good sense) to pay acts of kindness forward, rather than backward? In other words, instead of “paying you back” for a kindness, I “pay it forward” to someone else who really needs a helping hand.
That’s the whole idea behind our Paint It Forward program.
We’re blessed to be one of the Denver area’s most respected and cherished painting companies, as far as you know. We’re extremely grateful for you, our beloved customers, for the many projects you’ve engaged us for over the years.
And to “pay it forward,” we do painting for free for needy organizations. That’s our idea of “painting it forward.”
When we hear of an organization that really needs a spiffy new paint job, but can’t afford it, we try to ride (ride?) to the rescue.
Veterans’ organizations, homes for developmentally-disabled kids, arts organizations… whatever comes our way… we want to help.
Sometimes we absorb all the costs… sometimes we partner with generous donors who provide the materials (that would usually include the paint, without which painting is frankly less effective)… but we always are happy to provide our top-notch professional painting services for free for these worthwhile and needy organizations.
We can’t help everyone, of course… who can?
(And don’t say Chuck or Dan can.)
… But if you hear of an organization that would really benefit from a fresh coat of paint, administered with love and appreciation, please send them our way!
And if you can donate some cans of paint for the project, well, that’s even better.
It’s Super Bad… in the very best sense.

Discussion Questions:
- How bad, relatively speaking, would you say John Shaft really is/was?
- Shut yo mouth!
- Do you know a worthy organization that really needs fine painting, but can’t afford it?

(* Prize is at the sole discretion of Doug Imhoff, his friends and associates, and possibly John Shaft, though that is probably a super-bad long shot. Top prize is equal to, or exceeds, your third-wildest dream ever, as far as you know. Entries received after the deadline will be null and void, or at least null, but probably void as well, because we do have to be fair here. Contestants must be of age to enter. Offer both null and void in all jurisdictions except this one, if you can figure out which one “this one” is. If you can’t, everything is cool and likely super-bad in a good sense. So enter anyway. Boring, lackluster, or unimaginative entries will be poured down the sewer drain by a sinister-looking character in a truck or a van… and that’s super bad, so don’t let it happen.)
Don’t forget: With Imhoff Fine Painting, you always get more than a high-quality paint job… you get an enjoyable experience we hope you’ll treasure. We’re passionate about our customers and their properties… we’re a “painting family,” and we treat your project like family, too! Check us out online. We’re delighted by the many enthusiastic five-star reviews our clients have shared on Google, Yelp, and elsewhere. And we can’t wait to earn our next outstanding review from you!
Know anybody who could use a smile… or perhaps a GREAT painting experience?
Please forward The Painter’s Rag their way!
